HullWiper’s General Manager Laurance Langdon was among the speakers to address experts from around the world who gathered in Hong Kong for the World Ocean Council’s ‘Sustainable Ocean Summit (SOS)’. His subject – the application of innovation and new technologies to tackle biofouling and the threat of invasive marine species – was in line with the event’s central theme.
“Collaboration is central to drive change, and the SOS is an event with a high level of expertise from across the ocean industry, where everyone can meet and share ideas and agree on common goals,” he says. “The damage done by invasive marine species on our oceans and eco-system is undeniable. Everyone in the global maritime community can contribute to reduce and stop these harmful effects. HullWiper is a just one solution which is at the forefront, with safe, eco-friendly underwater hull cleaning, working within the industry.”
